SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the website area on a regular basis. The company point developed for intervention encounters a substantial influx read more of likely beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
